Dyson DC23 TurbineHead Canister Vacuum Review

Dyson DC23 TurbineHead Canister Vacuum
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Despite the fact that the Dysons have never been a top pick on Consumer Reports (even though they consistently rate high for brand reliability), I went ahead and purchased the DC23 Turbinehead from Target for $399.
As people often find when purchasing a new vacuum, they pick up a lot of dust and dirt in the carpet that their old vacuum left behind. Mainly because most older vacuums just lose suction even if you replace the filters and maintain all the parts. I find that to be frustrating and disappointing, and that's mainly one of the reasons that I went with the Dyson -- I'm hoping it lives up to their tagline (Never Loses Suction).
The suction on the DC23 is good. The turbine head attachment spins quickly and pulls in cat litter and other little particles in the carpet. I was revolted by the giant thick dust ball I picked up in just one bedroom with the first use. The DC23 does it's job well. So here's the run down of what I like and don't like about this model:
Likes
-Excellent suction, vacuums well. Easily picks up all the cat hair and cat litter I throw at it.
-Small, light weight and portable
-Beautifully designed -- it's shocking to look at this model next to all the Hoovers, Dirt Devils, and Bissells of the world that look like something straight out of the 80's. Also glad they are moving away from the yellow plastic!
-Easy to empty dust bin, no bags
-Because of the small head, this vacuum can go where most uprights cannot -- under beds and tables.
Dislikes
-It's a little expensive, however, will be well worth it if it actually lasts a long time without losing suction
-Storage is a little flimsy -- the hose just sort of hangs out off of the vacuum and the head attachment very loosely attaches to the canister base.

Delivering 220 airwatts of suction power, this canister vacuum cleaner features advanced Level 3 Root Cyclone technology to ensure thorough, efficient cleaning with no clogging or loss of suction. It also offers a TurbineHead brush bar that's ideal for cleaning medium and short pile carpets and can be turned off for hard floors. Certified asthma and allergy friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, the unit expels air that contains up to 150 times less mold and bacteria than common breathing air thanks to the vacuum's money-saving, lifetime washable HEPA filter. Plus, Dyson's Bactisafe screen traps and kills bacteria, mold and allergens on contact, preventing them from re-entering the air.
The Telescopic Wrap System allows the hose and wand to be compressed, and ensures that the Dyson DC23 can be stored away neatly and compactly, with no loose components or wires to get tangled. It comes with a stair tool for focusing on dust and dirt from stairs and stair carpets, a brush tool with long bristles to dislodge cobwebs and for delicate cleaning, and a high-velocity airflow crevice tool that's ideal for cleaning base boards, picture frames and in-between furniture. Other features include a clear bin with 0.44-gallon capacity, 21.6-foot cord length, and easy-to-maneuver fixed wheels. The vacuum measures 13.9 x 19.3 x 11.9 inches (HxWxD) and weighs 19.5 pounds. The Dyson DC23 TurbineHead is backed by a 5-year warranty.

Dyson DC07 All-Floors Cyclone Upright Vacuum Cleaner Review

Dyson DC07 All-Floors Cyclone Upright Vacuum Cleaner
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is one powerful vacuum. I researched it on the internet (Dyson has a great web site) and read about it in a couple of magazines. I was impressed and decided to try it. After using it in my country home I can say it's close to, but not, alas, perfect for my needs. I have a mixture of floor surfaces; hard wood, linoleum, tile, wall to wall carpet and LOTS of area rugs. And I have plenty of dirt, pets and people running through the house in all seasons. The Dyson is great on everything EXCEPT the area rugs, which it has a tendency to try to gobble up... The suction power is irrefutable and I will never look at my (or anyone else's) carpets the same way again. I pulled 3 cannisters of dirt, hair and sand out of my 8' x 11' area rug with the first use of the Dyson after a recent run over the same rug with my old vacuum! Unfortunately, the Dyson also tried to eat the area rug and made a horrible sound while doing so. After a toll free call to Dyson's service center (at 5:30 pm on a Sunday evening) I was instructed to turn off the "beater brushes" and use the mode for bare floors. The horrendous sound and the "gobbling" stopped, but unfortunately without the beater brush, the machine did not do an adequate cleaning job on the area rug.
PROS: quiet operation, very powerful, easy to clean dirt cannister, super long cord, super long "expanding" hose with attachments makes cleaning stairs, crevices and window sills easy, great on wall to wall carpet and hard wood, tile and linoleum floors, carries tools on board, light weight and easy to manuever without self-propulsion, lifetime air filters and bagless design saves money and the environment, GREAT phone based customer support.
CONS: pricey, encounters problems with area rugs, difficult to assemble out of box (required a call to toll free customer service to solve an assembly problem), instruction booklet a little sparse, mostly plastic parts raise some concern with a new product, at [this price] all the accessories (floor tool and pet hair tool) should be standard -- NOT "extras", poor response from e-mail customer service on their web site, unable to purchase "accessories" right now and not able to find out from company when these will be available.
RECOMMENDED? Yes BUT with some reservations - if you have hard floor and/or wall to wall carpet surfaces and are willing to pay for good design and power with convenience, this might be the right vacuum for you. If you have lots of large, area rugs, you might want to consider something else

Bissell ProHeat 2X Select Upright Deep Carpet Cleaner, 9400M Review

Bissell ProHeat 2X Select Upright Deep Carpet Cleaner, 9400M
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I am a 52 year old widow with 4 grown children, and I've always had at least one dog; now with the kids gone I have 3 small dogs. This is the third carpet cleaner I've purchased over 15 years. The first was a Hoover, and though I thought it worked fine, advances over the years have made big improvements both in the machines' ability to clean, and their design.
My second machine was the old version of this machine, which was 5 years old, and still working, but one of the kids borrowed it, and when I stressed the importance of cleaning after use, she went nuts and disassembled the thing to clean it (totally unnesessary), and it came back not working well. Obvious user problem, not the machine's fault.
So, I ordered the 9400 Select, which arrived promptly from Amazon, quickly assembled it, and went to work in the bedroom. With 3 dogs, I clean the carpet every 3 months. My dogs are potty trained, but they are dogs, after all, and unlike me they can't remove dirty shoes when they enter the house. Amazing what 12 little feet can track in to a carpet! So, between my normal use, and the dogs, I am always looking for the best machine.
I am going to post some pictures of the things mentioned, if this site allows... By the way, the room I did first and will base these comments on is a 12x15 foot bedroom, with very light colored carpeting. Some reviewers expressed frustration with the fuzzballs that can get left behind. Yes, this machine does that. It is old carpet, dog fur, and dirt. It is confined, slightly damp, and picks up easily. In this room there were maybe 12 chunks of this stuff, which were picked up as I went along. Not slimy, didn't require toweling or gloves.
Next, one reviewer said the machine leaks dirty water spots all over. Again, the machine at the end of a pull does leave some water spots. As soon as you go over the pull again, they are sucked up, leaving no spots in the wake. When I am changing the dirty water tank and refilling the bladder, I always throw a towel under the machine for the few minutes I am away. This is a water/detergent based machine; of course some excess might drip out when it is stationary. All of my machines did this, so I don't even think of it as unusual.
As for not knowing when the bladder is empty and needs refilling, I did not hear the "pop" some reviewers did, but I didn't need to stop and check the level, either. I just paid attention when pulling the trigger for the cleaning mode, and if nothing was being sucked up when trigger is released and it is in suction mode, which one can easily see through the clear design, I know there is nothing going out, and it's time to throw out the old water and refill the bladder. In this room, I take an hour or so to clean it properly. People who want a 10 minute clean are going to get exactly that. It takes months, sometimes years for carpeting to get dirty, but some folks want it to be cleaned in 10 minutes. I just don't get that. The trick is that though this is a very easy machine to use, the key is in going SLOWLY, and allowing the machine to do what it was designed to do. Get the fibers wet/soapy; then let the brushes get down deep, suck up the slop the machine cleaned, then turn the dial to rinse only (I always do this, though many don't, because in my opinion detergent residue left behind becomes a magnet of sorts for dirt once the carpet is dry). In any case, to do the job right, this room took me about an hour. Time well spent, with excellent results. Cleanup is a breeze. Take the bladder/ takeup container, empty it, then pour water through the take up holder to get any remaining dirty water out. This takes all of about 1 minute.
If my trend of getting a new cleaner about every 5 years continues, and in that time I use the machine 20 times, this is a bargain.
I am thrilled with the results this machine gives, and highly recommend it. I guess the only other issue I could address is the storage, and I do understand that it is slightly bulkier than a traditioner vaccuum cleaner, and if one doesn't have a spare closet it could be a problem. In this house, it just rests under the basement staircase, ready and waiting to be called into action again.

No more back and forth with the spray can and wimpy dry vacuum to get out tough carpet stains. ProHeat's hot, cleansing formula and extremely powerful suction work together to quickly remove tough carpet stains and embedded debris in a single pass. Ten rows of powerful brushes agitate ground-in dirt and bring it to the surface, while a wide floor nozzle with a 12-inch cleaning path extracts all traces for spotless results every time. Innovative edge-sweep brushes clean flush with walls without scratching.
The ProHeat 2X is equipped with ultra-smooth wheels and an extra-long, 30-foot power cord for optimal maneuverability. Perfect for cleaning carpet, upholstery, and stairs, the ProHeat features an innovative Tough Stain tool for cleaning up gummy messes and restoring carpet to factorylike newness. Other features include a heater switch, heat indicator light, carrying handle, easy-to-clean nozzle, and 2-in-1 tank as well as 12 amps of cleaning power. Your purchase includes the stain-removing tool, a bare-floor tool, a trial-size stain cleaner and fiber cleansing formula, and Scotchgard for keeping that carpet perfectly clean.
Bissell ProHeat models all feature a patented built-in heater that will heat the hot tap water you put in up to 25 degrees hotter to safely optimize cleaning effectiveness. The heater will never allow the temperature to exceed 190 degrees. The Heater switch on the front of the machine controls the heater so you have the option to turn off the heat if you are cleaning delicate wool or Oriental rugs.
The two DirtLifter PowerBrush rollers are designed to enhance cleaning performance. The bristle pattern safely lifts out the deep-down dirt while gently grooming carpet fibers. The floating suspension self-adjusts to all carpet heights and protects your carpet if you leave the power switch on. Once the product is in the Upright position, the brushes automatically stop spinning. The Detent Pedal will activate the brush when floor cleaning.
The Custom Clean feature automatically mixes hot tap water with the Bissell formula. Simply choose one of the our settings (Heavy Traffic, Normal Clean, Light Clean, or Rinse) and the ProHeat 2X will adjust the right amount of cleaning solution to mix with the heated water to fit your cleaning need.

FAQ
What is deep cleaning and why is it worthwhile? Deep cleaning is a carpet-cleaning process that loosens and removes most harmful dirt and ground-in grit, which may be deep down in your rugs and carpets. Not only does it protect the investment you have in your home, but parents of young children, pet owners, and allergy sufferers may find deep cleaning especially beneficial.
What features should I consider when I purchase a deep cleaner? It is important to choose a machine that is easy to use and fits your needs. Specific features to consider are heater, brushes, design, power rating, number of cleaning attachments, styling, weight, and warranty.
Why do I need a built-in heater on my deep cleaner? The Bissell ProHeat2X with a patented built-in heater heats the water and solution--just like the pros. The water and solution travel through the heater before being sprayed onto your carpet. Bissell provides continuous heated cleaning by raising the temperature of your hot tap water by up to 25 degrees. Other systems use exhaust air from the motor to achieve "heated cleaning."
Are the Bissell DirtLifter PowerBrushes safe for my carpeting? The Bissell Research and Development department tests products on a wide variety of the most common types of carpeting for durability and wear. All of our cleaning products are proven safe, gentle, and effective on cleaning carpets. Cleaning effectiveness is dependent upon multiple factors, including brush engagement. The DirtLifter PowerBrush system is a crucial element in our cleaning process and a key factor behind our statement of unbeatable cleaning. Bissell brushes rotate like those on your everyday vacuum cleaner. They are powerful enough to get the deep-down dirt, yet gentle enough to use daily.
How is my carpet warranty affected? Until now, to maintain your Scotchgard protector 5-year limited stain warranty you were required to hire a professional cleaner. By using your Bissell ProHeat with Bissell formulas containing Scotchgard protector every 12 months, your carpet's warranty from 3M remains in effect. No other deep-cleaning system can do this for you. Refer to the Scotchgard protector warranty for details.

Eureka 4236AZ Comfort Clean Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner Review

Eureka 4236AZ Comfort Clean Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner

(More customer reviews)
I have been trying to decide which new vacuum to buy and finally bought this Eureka.
I had just used my old vacuum and ran through the house with it thinking that it would be a few more days before I got this one and got hubby to assemble it for use.
He put it together right away and I ran it just ONE day ofter using the older one. Granted, I realized it was time to replace the old one but it still picked up a good bit of stuff and when I changed bags, its was obviously still pulling a good bit of dust, cat hair, etc. when I used it.

But, I am still in a state of shock at what came out of my carpet! EEEEKKKKKKKKK!!! I am almost thinking that I may have to buy a new filter now, even though it says to change every six months! I can't begin to wrap my mind around just how much dust, cat hair, etc. that has obviously collecting in our house that we moved into just a couple of years ago at the most and the carpet was new at the time. I know they have a lot of fuzz and such in them when they are new but this is beyond belief as far as I am concerned.
Now, most of my floors are wood and I have vinyl in the kitchen and I know this machine did not come with a bare floor setting (which was my error before purchase) but am hoping it is available to purchase as attachment.
Either way, I put it on a different setting than for the higher carpet as I did not want it to beat up my wood floors andi it did fine. So, I covered most of the floor excpet the large formal dining room and the canister was full and as I said, I may need to replace the filter prior to the suggested time. It did brush off nicely with a soft bristle brush that I use for my clothes dryer.
All I can say is that this thing will make you feel like you have been living in a filthy dust pit and here I though I was a fairly clean person and kept a decent house and now I just feel like I need to run it again really quickly and see if I can get rid of more cooties!!
Mine came with the power paw but I did not even get that far with using it yet but feel sure it will be great on the furniture due to our cats who think they own the house!

Dirt Devil M083414 Extreme Power Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner
Average Reviews:

Having just put tile throughout the house, and living with 3 dogs and 2 cats, I hated hauling out the heavy vacuum and plugging it in. And then unplugging and plugging again and again all the while dragging it around the house.. This little wonder does the whole house, is light and does the job. The only complaint I could possibly have is that the dirt cup is quite small and has to be emptied frequently. This, of course, would vary depending on how much animal hair accumulates on ones floor.

I would heartily reccommend this device because of it's ease of use, lack of weight and powerful suction.
I love it and could sell them door to door they are so great.

Type G Bosch Vacuum Cleaner Replacement Bag (5 Pack) Review

Type G Bosch Vacuum Cleaner Replacement Bag (5 Pack)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Decent replacement bags and I've used many of these with no problems. I would have rated them at 5 stars but they do have one small glitch. I believe these were originally designed for older Bosch models with an elongated container/bag compartment. The current model bag compartments are wider than long so that's the glitch. The Bosch bags are designed for this and if you're looking for a better fit, then I'd choose that route. But for the price, these are a great alternative. In my opinion 20 bags at the same cost as 5 Bosch bags is worth it.
They do fit fine and might hold a little less due to being lengthwise. Instead of just inserting the bag, I will open/fluff it up and then insert it. It takes all of about 10 seconds. If you just insert the bag, the bottom folds over and obviously it'll affect how much it can hold. As a quick comparison Bosch bags sit sideways and these sit lengthwise.
Hope that helps.

Maid Lite Easy Glider Ultra Lightweight Vacuum Cleaner HUL-300 Review

Bought this vacuum on a whim. We've been through 2 vacuums with wind tunnel dust collection. Both came with lots of plastic attachments...most we do not need or use. Wind tunnels are fun to watch but other than that it was just a complicated conglomeration of parts that gave us problems. The Maid Lite on the other hand is very simple, very very light weight, and is very good at cleaning. It doesn't have bells and horns but gets the job done quite well. Sand in carpet is not a problem with the maid lite. That's our defining test for a vacuum. It has a floating head that automatically adjusts to the carpet height. It works quite well also. Bag changing is very easy. It's just an amazing vacuum. For our needs, simple is better.

Sanitaire SC412A 12 Amp Commercial Back Pack Vacuum Cleaner Review

Sanitaire SC412A 12 Amp Commercial Back Pack Vacuum Cleaner
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've been using this vacuum for the better part of a year now, and wanted to spread the word about it! Canister-style vacuums are better than uprights for use on hard floors, but they are cumbersome to maneuver. This unit is carried on your body like a backpack, with shoulder straps and a waist harness, so only the power cord trails behind you.
Although you must carry the weight of the machine, the design is actually much better for someone (like me) with back problems because it is easier to maintain a proper body position. (Ever noticed how you lean forward when you're vacuuming? That is terrible for your lower back!) The machine is also very lightweight (ten pounds or so?) and well-distributed across the back; it should be manageable for most adults. All of this really comes together when you get to your stairs. For that job, I use only the flexible hose (no extension wand) and the small accessory tools. I kneel on one step, and can comfortably reach the next couple of steps by hand. I still can't believe how easy that job has become for me.
Another outstanding feature -- even carried so close to the ears, this machine is quieter than any other I have used.
The design is not perfect. In particular, the joint of the extension wand to the flexible hose is a problem. It takes muscle to attach the two pieces, and they can work loose during use. Storing the power cord is also a nuisance -- it's not retractable like most canisters, and there are not even pegs to wind it around like a standard upright. A little padding on the shoulder straps would be nice, too.
Finally, I have seen canister vacuums that come with a rotating brush attachment for use on carpet. This vacuum has an accessory that is meant for carpets, but high-quality, plush carpeting needs to be agitated. I have an upright for the carpeted second floor in my home. If I could find that accessory, I'd pitch the other machine completely.
I hope Sanitaire will work on those features in future models because backpack vacuums deserve a bigger market share. I'd like to see this machine get its due notice. In the meantime, I highly recommend this unit for anyone with mostly hard flooring in their homes.

I have three rough-coated collies and this has to be the worst piece of junk that I have ever owned. I have had this vacuum for 4 months and have only been able to use it 15 times because the belt constantly burns and breaks! After the first 5 uses, POOF went the belt. I bought 4 new belts. I clean it *thoroughly* -- including filters and removing ALL the pet hair and debris from the brush bar -- before and DURING every use, but the belt burns and breaks EVERY TIME I USE IT! It doesn't matter where I set the brush bar height -- it overheats and burns the belt. I only have TWO BEDROOMS that have carpeting! I wish I had insisted on spending the $$$ for a new Dyson, but I thought it would not be necessary because the majority of the floors in this new house are wood. The "Shedaway Pet Grooming Tool" works great -- if you attach it to a REAL vacuum instead of this Bissel. I put it on the end of my half-dead Dyson and it's great. On the Bissel, it's a joke. I will never buy another Bissel vacuum again.

I picked this up at Costco for considerably less than I see it advertised elsewhere. I have many unhappy vacuum experiences and thought was just fated to hate the product or spend big bucks. This one is just the ticket for me, on a budget but living in a kingdom of cobwebs and pet hair. I have vaulted ceilings with beams, and this is the first time I have not had to stand on a chair or lift the vacuum canister onto a counter to reach every nook and cranny. Long hose, long cord, very portable, and wow, it REALLY does adjust when you go from bare floor to carpet so that you don't get sucked down onto the carpet. The suction adjuster is easy to use, but I didn't even need it. Love the bare floor setting, which has little stiff brushes that loosen debris that might be a little stuck to the floor. I also have cabinets off the floor with space underneath, and this is the first time i have been able to easily reach all the way under cabinets and furniture with out having to assemble some sort of contraption or get under the furniture. Don't care about headlights, as long as I can get in and out under that couch! The cannister follows smoothly along, and because the hose is so long, I actually pull it less than with my last one--actually everything about it feels smooth. Wand is very easily adjustable and actually is long enough for a tall person to be comfortable. The accessory tool is very simplistic, but it does fit in the vacuum and I always seems to lose all those tools anyway. For someone who is happy with just a small round brush and a crevice tool, it's fine. If you want a lot of fancy accessories, you'll need to purchase them separately or look elsewhere. I have mostly bare floors, so I can't speak to its performance on carpet. But I'm happy to not have to contort to hold down the corners of area rugs to vacuum over them. I still hate vacuuming, but at least I am not having ranting fits about how much I hate the tool during the process.
Down side: The filster is supposedly washable, not sure about that. The bags are pretty small, but that is the trade off for having the canister be very portable. I have't bought any bags, but I may spend a fortune on them.

Eureka 2996AVZ Altima Bagless Upright Vacuum Review

I looked for weeks for a cheap vacuum that would do a decent job around my apartment and suck up my dog's hair that's on the furniture. This one has exceeded my expectations! I got it at Costco for $90 and it came w/ an extra set of filters as a bonus. Costco is the way to go w/ appliances and electronics because you can return it ANY time w/ no questions asked. I will not be returning this any time soon!
The vacuum is light and easy to use. It has great suction and the edge cleaner to the right of the main brushes really gets the sides. It empties very easily and pulls all the dirt and dust into one ball for a very clean job. The filters are visible through clear plastic, so it's easy to see when they need to be cleaned. A simple rinse of the foam filter keeps the dust out very well!
My favorite feature in this vacuum is the powered brush attachment that comes with it. It works just like a normal vacuum brush and pulls dog hair and dust off anything. I used it in my car and it did great on the carpet in there too. The brush attachment is great for smooth surfaces because it captures all the dust and small pieces w/o scratching anything. It was great for the leather and plastic parts in my car. The duster brush that comes with it is useful, but not spectacular. It holds the dust well and cleans off easily w/ the flip of a switch.

Oreck PRO6A XL ProTM 6 Quart Backpack Vacuum Review

I love this vacuum. I just got it yesterday and I put it together and had it going within minutes. I vacuumed my whole house (2500 square feet) in 15 minutes. It's lightweight and the suction is awesome. I also used it on my furniture to get pet hair and it worked awesome. I am a cleaning lady and I can't wait to use it on Monday at my first client's house!
The 50 foot cord is great because you just plug into the middle of your house and you never have to unplug, just keep going until it's done. It even works on plush carpet as it's a hard plastic, it just runs over it sucking all the dirt up!
Downside: it doesn't have a horsetail brush for wood floors as to not scratch them. Looking for one of those right now!

Eureka 4870SZ Boss SmartVac Pet Lover Bagged Upright Vacuum Cleaner Review

I've had this vacuum for several months now, and I'm quite puzzled by the negative reviews it's gotten. It DOES sound like maybe there were some lemons out there, but once these folks figured out how to work it, or got it replaced it was ok.
We have 2 very long-haired dogs--there is always a TON of dog hair on the carpet. Plus we're all "indoor outdoor" so there's plenty of dirt getting tracked on our carpets too. I vacuum about once a week. I turn this vac on and it does an awesome job--it's got so much suction that I have to turn down the volume when I go over my throw rugs or it lifts them off the ground. It has incredible suction through the wand too--I have nabbed flying insects from several inches away this last week--hah!
I can't stand the enormous mess of bagless vacs (a ridiculous trend in vacs if you need heavy duty cleaning), and this vac has disposable HEPA bags--which was tops on my list. The bags that are meant to be purchased with it contain the unpleasant dog smell which eventually accumulates--and they work great!!! I've never had a vac that did that.
It's got a very simple on/off switch, not a foot pedal, which I'm happy about. It has multiple on-board attachments. It has a nice large valve (?) that you turn to go from floor to hose suction--always a problem previously for me. And it has the ability to turn off the rotating brush when you're working on bare floors--although I don't have a problem w/ keeping it on when I'm going over the tile in kitchen.
It has an enormous long cord which lets me cover a HUGE amount of living room/dining room without switching outlets.
My ONLY complaint is that the latch that lets you release it from it's upright position is slightly difficult for me to get it to work in my houseshoes/boots. But I figure that's me and my selection of footwear--I eventually give it enough pressure and it releases.
I honestly can't say enough good things about this vac--it has enormous power, no smell, long cord, can do carpet or hard floors well, etc. It's not ultra-light or quiet--but I've had dogs long enough to know that I can't get the cleaning I want w/ some wimpy vac. But it's not so heavy I have a problem with it--maybe my mother would, she's 75. It rolls really well though, so you can just roll it backwards on 2 wheels very very easily. And the husband says it's a lot quieter than the last one, a Dirt Devil which didn't so squat. so go figure.
It DOES the job it says it will do--I couldn't be more pleased w/ something I absolutely depend on.

Designed with pet lovers in mind, this upright vacuum cleaner features a powerful 12 amp motor for maintaining a well-groomed home, from top to bottom. The unit's motorized brushroll can be turned on for carpets and rugs or off to safely and effectively clean bare-floor surfaces. For above-floor cleaning, use the crevice tool to access tight spots like between couch cushions; the dusting brush for bookshelves, vents, and lamp shades; and the upholstery nozzle for cleaning curtains, living-room chairs, couches, and more. It also comes equipped with a Pet Power Paw turbo nozzle, which effectively removes dust, dirt, and pet hair from carpet, stairs, and upholstery--plastic teeth loosen it, a rubber strip grabs it, and bristles pull it up and away. The vacuum cleaner's sealed HEPA filtration system captures 99.97-percent of dust, allergens, and pet dander, then seals them inside the vacuum to help ensure a clean living environment. Even more, it offers a high-filtration odor-eliminating Arm & Hammer bag that captures allergy-causing pet dander and removes odors caused by pets, mold, bacteria, and fungi. Other highlights include a comfortable oval-shaped handle, adjustable height settings, a suction-control switch, a 15-inch cleaning path, and a long 30-foot power cord. The vacuum cleaner measures 12 by 15 by 44 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.
