(More customer reviews)I have had the vacuum for a few weeks now and it seems to be very well designed. I use it on hardwood floor, tile, and on my rugs. I had the Oreck Electrik Broom, the older model, and it would always get clogged when vacuuming rugs. This vacuum really picks up crumbs and dog hair, and while the other review said it pushed the cat food around, if you used the nozzle attachment I am sure it would pick it up. It is pretty easy to remove the power head and it is very comfortable to have the long handle so you can use the nozzle without kneeling over. This is not designed to be your only vacuum, but for everyday clean ups in between using your full size vacuum it does a good job.
