(More customer reviews)I first learned about these special Hoover Type S Hepa Filter Bags when I recently replaced by five-year-old Hoover canister vacuum with a new Hoovers Centennial WindTunnel. I purposely chose the Hoover Centennial WindTunnel because I had previously stocked-up on four 10-packs of regular Hoovers Type S Bags, and the new model accepts the same Type S size.
I tried both the old green Type S bags as well as the included two new Hepa Filter Type S bags in my new vacuum, and the Hepa bags seem to do a better job of catching all of the dust than the green bags.
So I shopped around for some Hepa bags and purchased a few from amazon.com.
I'll still use the old Type S green bags, but I look forward to transitioning to the Hepa bags once the old Type S's are used up.
My only concern is the price of the Hepa bags, which at about $3.50 each are more than three times more expensive than my old green regular Type S bags. I hope they're worth the price differential.

I have never seen these in any store, have looked in many different stores in my area. I only knew they existed because of the info included with my vacuum cleaner. The larger size (and they still fit perfect) allows you to continue vacuuming without stopping to remove pet hair from the top of the bag, as I've had to do using other types of bags. I am happy with the handle that folds down for easier transporting in the back of my truck. This has a silent mode when needed, and a booster for extra heavily soiled carpet. It uses a heavy cord which comes with it.I would recommend this vacuum for both home & business.

But after 3 months I have to say it is much better than I expected.
Here is my rundown:
I purchased this since my baby was starting to crawl and I wanted to be able to vacuum easily and quickly. My Rainbow was just too much work to pull out of the closet everyday.
I timed the battery and it lasted about 15 minutes after a full charge. It sucks up all of the dog hair and even cat litter! I use it on my stained concrete floors, rugs and bedroom carpets and it works really well. I have noticed that I do need to empty the dirt container several times during a 15 minute run but this is very satisfying to do so !!!
I have taken the filter and dirt container apart to wash them and it is super easy.
I have heeded the warnings about not storing the battery in the charger in an attempt to make it last longer and so far so good.
You will be surprised how well this little lightweight vacuum works.
Worth the money

The hepa filter drys over night and can be used over and over again .No bags are used and this fliter keeps My furniture dust free for a very long time. I feel it is more powerful and holds up better at 1/2 the price. I go through many cords on any of my uprights and the cord on this one is just a replacement with a heavy duty extension cord. Hoover OXY Detergent, 48 Ounces, AH30140 Review

(More customer reviews)My wife & I just finished off our first 48 oz. bottle of Hoover's Oxy Detergent. All that I can say is that I was really hoping for more from this product. We have shampooed two main rooms with this detergent and a Hoover SteamVac Carpet Cleaner, All-Terrain, F7452900, and it is from this that I base my review.
One of these rooms is our family room which contains a door to the garage. The carpet by that door is an obvious problem area. The other problem is the plain & simple fact that it is the family room. The amount of traffic in that room can be seen as a dingy path in front of the seating. Overall, the SteamVac seemed to pull up a lot of dirt, but this review is about the cleaner & not the...well....cleaner (SteamVac). Aside from the SteamVac lifting up copious amounts of mid- to fine-grained dirt, I cannot tell any difference in the brightness of the carpet between areas that I repeatedly shampooed and those areas that were not cleaned at this time.
In the second room (our 'formal' living room), there were a couple of spots from one spill or another (prior to getting a carpet shampooer). The same condition as above applies here. I repeatedly scrubbed a couple small, spotted areas and a quick passover on the traffic pathways. At the end, there is no discernible difference between the clean but uncleaned, the lightly cleaned, and the thoroughly scrubbed sections of carpet.
If I had seen some kind of improvement in the coloration or renewed rebound in the pile of the carpet, I might think that the Oxy cleaner was at work. Unfortunately, it not only failed to lighten up some of our Kool-Aid stains, but it left virtually no difference in look or feel between cleaned & (clean) uncleaned carpet. I can draw no other conclusion than it is no more effective than any of the cheaper detergents. To that end, save yourself a couple dollars, and buy regular detergent. If nothing else, spend those couple dollars on a pre-treat spray of some type.
