(More customer reviews)I used mine for over five months before I had to replace it - not because it was full, but because the air the vacuum was expelling was no longer fresh. (I assume that very fine particles of dust had clogged the bag preventing it from filtering properly.) I used the canister to vacuum out the inside and the bottom of the upright, replaced the bag, and it began filtering like new again. Now I use the canister to vacuum out the bottom of the upright on a regular basis, and replace the bag whenever the exhaust is no longer fresh. The 4 for 3 promotion makes this an excellent item to buy on Amazon.
