(More customer reviews)This model was purchased to replace a 9-year-old Hoover WindTunnel bagless upright. Our previous vacuum was great, so we stayed with Hoover. This new Anniversary model does ok on dirt and pet hair, but it won't pick up a string on carpet despite numerous passes and direction changes. This makes me wonder what else it's missing in the carpet. Also, the carpet beater bar runs continuously even when the hose is being used with the hand attachments. Definitely would not purchase again!
